PA~~~~ i miss you…..

September 6th, 2005 by thomasdiary

on the 26.8.05…….. in the early morning, around 5.30am….. i wanted to wake up in the morning to study… but i heard that my father is vomiting….. at first, i didn’t really take it seriouly because he always vomit when something stuck in his throat….. but this time is different… he vomit until very hard to talk also… later, he told us (my mom and i) that he has stomach ace… until his back bone was also in a pain…. i’ve never seen him in such a pain. everytime whenever he’s sick, he’ll show us that he was ok… this is to let us not to worry bout him… but this time, he told us that he has never suffered in this kind of pain before… he even can walk because of the pain.

then, we immediately send him to the hospital. it was some so-called SPECIALIST HOSPITAL in JB. when we send him to the emergency room, the nurses was like never big deal to them…. they didn’t treat my father well either. yet, another nurse is rushing back home. i’m wondering, what kind of attidude is this??? it was 6.00 am. the doctor hasn’t come… then, the nurses give my father pain killer to stop the pain. 6.30, the medical officer just woke up… he told us that my father is suffering from ’sen jie stone’ that’s mean kidney got stone… at 7.00 they send him to the ward… at that time my father was unconcious.. but he looks bettter now…. so, i went back home to teach my members kawad kaki.

at 8.30 am, they slowly take x-ray for my father. first the go for kidney, then nothing wrong they said…. in the end the found out that my father blood vessel is bursting!!!! they told us that it was an emergency case. at 11.30am, i was back in the hospital. my father was send to the ICU ward. but, they like nothing big happen… very slowly they move him in…. i can still see the doctor are still joking. i can only pray at that time. i try to contact all my family members… but they just don believe it was so serious….

when my father was in the ICU, he tried to tell me something. but he can’r say a word. until now i still can remember the way he touch my hand.

the doctor tell my mother that they wasn’t be able to do the operation here…. the only way is send to singapore of kl hospital. but the doctor said, if we send to him to sing hospital, it’ll cost a lot. so, my mother said, ok. we send him to kl then. but the doctor said that my father won’t be able to make it there. my mother was so angry. she don’t know what to do. in the end, my mother decided to send him to singapore. so, my mother went back to perling to get her passport.

later on, the doctor came out, he ask me to call my mother immediately because my father have to do the operation immediately in this hospital. so, i call my mother and ask her to come back right now. when she’s in the hospital, the doctor ask her again, ‘where do you want to send him to? singapore or kl?" my mother was like crazy already at that time. she beg the doctor.’please la doctor. you are a doctor. your motto is to preserve life. you should know what to do. please tell me what to do. pls don play a fool on me anynore. i really can’t take it.” in the end my mother rush back to get her passport.

after 30 minutes, she goot back to the hospital. only at that time, the doctor, slowly and ’steadyly’ contact the singapore doctor. i really don’t know what the hell are they doin. after another 30 minutes, that so-called international ambulance only come.

from the time they decided to go singapore, till the time they are really to go, they took the total of 3 hours!!! is this called as an emergency case??????

i can only wait at home. i pray, i wait. i hope nothing will happen to him. my friends was accompany me. and my gf too…. we believe that nothing will happen to him…

at 8 pm, as i believe that nothing will happen to him, so, i go for tuition. not more then 10 minutes i arrive at the tuition cantre. my mother called. she told me that my father has gone to the buddha’s land. the operation was succesful. just baceuse thay took so long time to send him to the singapore hospital, his heart cannot take it anymore. however, we know the percentage of successful only have 15%. but we still give it a try. he’s gone. that’s right. i have lost someone who i really love and someone who are really love me. so does my mother.

now, i can fully understnd that why everyone will send their family to the singapore for check-up. hereby, i wanted to thank to the singapore hospital for helping us so much… to that hospital in malaysia, i …………..

pa, you have gone. you have really gone. until now i still cannot believe it. so does your other family members and your friend. i’ll take fully responsible for this house, for this family. don’t worry pa, i’ll take good care of mother. please rest in peace.

i’ve never say ‘i love you’ to my father before. but now, it was too late. he won’t be able to hear it anymore.

PA, I LOVE YOU
